Original Live Stage Spectacular Combining Exceptional Ice Skating, Aerial Arts, Puppetry and Film To Debut In 2012 With Rollout In More Than 30 Countries
Ms. Yanyan Zhao, a former Chinese state honored acrobat and currently an acrobatic entertainment producer basing her shows in Reno and Las Vegas, Nevada, has agreed to be a contracted advisor for Ice Age Live!

Fox Studios have teamed up with Stage Entertainment to bring the 'Ice Age' franchise to stage. Set to open in the fall of 2012, "Ice Age Live! A Mammoth Adventure" will see the same characters come alive in puppet form and take part in a new tale. The show will combine ice skating, aerial arts, film and acrobatics including the Chinese traditional martial arts commonly known as Wushu or Kungfu. Ms. Zhao will be responsible in selecting and directing the Chinese performer's team to be composed by more than 20 outstanding young artists. Her contribution and performance as an acrobatic expert will be both crucial and instrumental to this show's success.

The Ice Age franchise, begun in 2002, has earned $1.9 billion worldwide and rates among the most successful computer-animated children's films of all time. A fourth film in the series, Ice Age: Continental Drift, is due for release in July 2012. The live show's music and lyrics are to be written by Ella Louise Allaire and Martin Lord Ferguson, whose credits include Cirque du Soleil shows. Costumes will be designed by Cirque du Soleil's Michael Curry. Stage Entertainment produced Holiday on Ice, and has worked on other popular stage musicals including The Lion King, Dirty Dancing and Mamma Mia!.

Ice Age Live! expects to travel the world for five years, starting in London's Wembley Arena. With her tenure experience in the entertainment industry and her long term collaboration with numerous world renowned acrobatic enterprises such as Cirque du Soleil, Yanyan Zhao "really looks forward to the opportunity of uplifting the traditional Chinese performing arts on the international stage."
